VIDEO: George Zimmerman Has NO Regrets: “It Was All In God’s Plan”
Unsurprisingly, Sean Hannity’s interview with George Zimmerman last night turned out to be very controversial, to say the least.
Zimmerman laid out his version of events on that fateful night in February, maintaining that he acted in self-defense against an aggressive, violent Trayvon Martin.
Though at one point he offered an apology to the Martin family, eyebrows across the nation were certainly raised when he asserted that he had no regrets about any of his actions that night, and that it was all in “God’s plan.”
“At one point, Zimmerman offered a lengthy apology to the Martin family saying, ‘I am sorry that they buried their child. I can’t imagine what it must feel like. I pray for them daily.’ However, when asked whether he regretted getting out his car to follow Trayvon Martin while on his neighborhood watch patrol, or whether he regretted having his gun on him, Zimmerman said no.
Then in what will likely turn out to be the most controversial statement of the night, Zimmerman said that ‘I feel that it was all God’s plan’ and he doesn’t want to second guess or judge what happened that night. Martin’s father responded in a statement by saying, ‘We must worship a different God, because there’s no way my God would have wanted George Zimmerman to kill my son.’”
