MSNBC’s Toure: Romney Is Trying to ‘Niggerize’ Obama Campaign

During a debate on the MSNBC show “The Cycle,” journalist Toure asserted that the Romney Campaign was using coded language in order to “niggerize” President Obama.

Toure was referring specfically to Romney’s response to Vice President Joe Biden’s “chains” comment earlier this week; explaining that Romney’s overuse of the term “angry” to describe the Obama Campaign was an attempt to play off of the “angry black man” stereotype.

From Clutch Magazine:

“‘You notice he said anger twice. He’s really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook against Obama, the ‘otherization,’ he’s not like us,’ Toure told the group.

As we all know the word ‘angry’ has been used many times over to describe the Black woman and Toure is stating that Romney is using this word as a racial slur to demonize Obama as an “angry” Black man who should be feared by all White people (or Republicans).”

A back and forth battle then ensued between Toure and conservative co-host S.E. Cupp who couldn’t understand how Romney’s use of the word ‘angry’ was racist, but Vice President Joe Biden’s use of the word ‘chains’ wasn’t.”
