100 Black Men Metropolitan Houston Chapter
On behalf of the members of the 100 Black Men of America, Houston Metropolitan Chapter, we would like to share with those who are unfamiliar with our organization our vision statement as an organization which “seeks to serve as a beacon of leadership by utilizing our diverse talents, to create an environment where our children and communities are motivated to achieve and to empower our people to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economic fabric of the communities in which we serve.”

Aspiring Youth
Students do not stop learning when the bell rings at the end of the school day — they just change teachers. Aspiring Youth provides positive activities and mentoring relationships during the latch-key hours after school when youth are especially vulnerable. Aspiring Youth’s mission is to prepare at-risk youth for success in school and in life.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston
Since 1952, we have been providing a Positive Place for Kids where they can spend time after school and during the summer. Our Clubs are for kids ages 7-17. We have 10 locations in the Greater Houston areas (Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris and Waller county).  Through the assistance of donations from corporations, foundations, government grants and people like you, we are able to offer our kids a fun place to hang out with friends, enjoy a meal, participate in sports leagues, get help with their homework, learn computer skills, art skills and much much more. All Boys & Girls Club programs are based on a youth development strategy that builds self-confidence and self-esteem, and fosters a sense a belonging, competence, usefulness and influence.

Forge For Families
The mission of The FORGE for Families is to enrich the spiritual, educational, vocational, and leadership development of inner city families through Christ-centered mentoring, bringing transforming growth to Houston’s Third Ward community. We, too, are transformed as at risk youth, single parents, and underprivileged individuals seize new opportunities to realize their full potential in a supportive, highly relational environment.

Hope For Youth
Hope for Youth challenges and enables disadvantaged youth to reach their full potential academically, socially, and spiritually through Christian mentoring relationships. Many families in poverty are forced to move frequently, and Hope for Youth is committed to working with these teens through their transience, often providing the only stability and consistency in their social and academic lives.

PACE  Youth Program
PACE is a multidimensional family re-entry and re-socialization program for juvenile offenders. We are helping young men and women between the ages of 12-21 stay out of jail and off the streets by providing them with one year of concentrated strategies for building their own personal developmental assets in order to minimize their chances of re-arrest or re-incarceration.

Youth Development Center
The Youth Development Center (YDC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire, equip, and guide urban youth to LIVE!  From our facility in the northeast sector of Houston, the program serves children from the Greater Fifth Ward. Currently, YDC operates an after-school academic remediation program that addresses literacy development for inner city students in grades 3 – 8.
